Digital Radio Mondiale is a one-to many, terrestrial digital broadcasting system, not dependant on the Internet

We see daily hacking attacks on the internet, satellites and telecommunications in various parts of the world? Under such conditions would DRM hold up? (UK dxer)

Digital Radio Mondiale (drm.org) is a one-to many, terrestrial digital broadcasting system (that is modern and efficient) that does not depend on the internet. With the right set up it can deliver information, news, emergency warnings and education even when electricity is not available. Digital radio is the last defence when every other platform has failed. It is for this reason that some countries are reevaluating radio, simple, ubiquitous and trusted as the digital platform of last resistance in times of crises and emergencies, natural and man-made (ewf.drm.org).

Our specialists will respond to your short and relevant questions about the DRM standard.

Please submit them to projectoffice@drm.org and we will post them on our website.
