DRM General Assembly Concludes Successfully in Dubai

After two full days of presentations, debates and demonstrations the DRM General Assembly (GA) ended on a high note in Dubai on May 20th.

After an informative and much appreciated DRM Masterclass on the what, why and how of the most complete digital audio broadcasting terrestrial standard, on May 19th the General Assembly started with a review of activities on all continents and introduction of new DRM members.

The highlights of the second day of the GA were the presentations on India, Indonesia and the latest from China. The receiver session was much anticipated and included updates demonstrating that there are now a variety of receiver options and modules for DRM in all bands as well as DRM in combination with other standards.

The over 50 participants from all over the world appreciated the presentations, engaged in discussions and networked during the two days of the DRM annual meeting.

They endorsed the DRM strategy for the next year and agreed to cooperate and collaborate even more within the Consortium.
